User friendly programs provide easy solutions for engineering design applications, including PIPING, COMBUSTION, HVAC, MECHANICAL, THERMAL PROCESS, AND REFRACTORY SYSTEMS.
Specialized engineering knowledge, scientific data, and complicated equations and formulas are transformed into easy-to-use programs. Inclusion of numerous pre-programmed values eliminates the need to consult outside references for many physical properties- thus freeing you from tedious and non-productive work. And you don't have to learn any abbreviated symbols or code letters to run the programs. In addition to providing solutions for new projects, the programs provide data to help analyze and improve existing systems based on present day computer technology, to save energy and utility costs.
Worldwide firms using these programs include leaders in aluminum, automotive, chemical, electronic, machinery, petroleum, paper and steel, as well as piping contractors, consulting engineers, universities, public works and energy engineers.
The programs employ design and engineering knowledge acquired over many years. After graduating from Penn State (BSME), my engineering experience started when I designed a 100' (30m) high continuous aluminum strip annealing furnace for Alcoa while employed as a design engineer at Westinghouse. I was employed at North American Mfg. Co. wherein I gained "hands-on" service experience developing and operating gas and oil-fired combustion equipment. I was then a project engineer at Sunbeam Equipment designing electric and fuel-fired metallurgical heat treating furnaces and related piping, material handling equipment, and generators - including five - 25,000 cfh (708 m³/h) Hymonogas® (10% H2 / 90% N2) units for US Steel Dravosburg.
I was one of four partners in an Architectural-Engineering firm doing the mechanical and electrical engineering designs with three architects for commercial & industrial projects.
My consulting engineering practice specializes in industrial thermal process equipment design, piping, material handling, combustion, insulation, hvac, energy analysis and heat recovery. Development of these computer programs have evolved into professional and practical solutions for many plant engineering equipment design problems. Thousand's of hours have been spent developing and upgrading the programs, to be sure they are de-bugged, accurate, and entirely suitable for the intended engineering design application.
The blue 5 second sequences on the following pages were copied from the DOS programs. There are 32 DOS programs and 18 VB6 programs. All programs run full screen in all windows operating systems, except Windows 7 displays the DOS programs in a reduced screen version. |
